The conference emphasizes information sharing, or technology transfer, by anyone currently using GIS and anyone considering using GIS.  Over 600 representatives from government agencies, businesses, and academic institutions are expected to attend TUgis 2007.  The confirmed keynote speakers for TUgis 2007 include:
