COG's Jeff King discusses electric vehicles in a Washington Post Q&A

COG Climate, Energy and Air Programs Director Jeff King was recently featured in a Washington Post Q&A on electric vehicles in metropolitan Washington. He talked about local and regional planning efforts supporting greater adoption of EVs and an expansion of electric vehicle charging infrastructure. King noted how these efforts play a critical role in achieving better air quality and the region’s goal of a 50 percent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 below 2005 levels.
