COG, Board of Trade help regional leaders prepare for 2017 Inauguration

Nearly 300 business and government leaders attended the event to learn how to prepare for the Inauguration.

The Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments (COG) and the Greater Washington Board of Trade partnered to host a briefing on January 12, featuring top business, transportation, and security officials to help attendees prepare for the 2017 Inauguration.

The event covered topics including how businesses and individuals can prepare for disruptions to operations and road closures, what transportation options are available, and what officials are doing to prepare for security disruptions and protests to ensure public safety.
