Homeland Security Grants Available

Grants are now available through the 2005 Homeland Security Grant program at the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Public Safety and Justice in the District of Columbia.

The District of Columbia Office of the Deputy Mayor for Public Safety and Justice/Office of Homeland Security is accepting applications from nonprofit groups for federal grants through the National Capital Region Urban Areas Security Initiative Grant Program. The grant program provides funds to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations that are determined to be at risk of terrorist attack because of their location within specific high-threat, high-density urban areas.

A Request For Applications information session will take place at COG on Monday, July 11, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
