Happy New Year from COG

Jan 3, 2018

Message from COG Executive Director Chuck Bean

With the new year comes new possibilities for metropolitan Washington, and we couldn't be more excited to get to work. After all, the future of the region is our business.

Throughout 2018, COG will focus on a variety of regional challenges, from transportation funding, to air and water quality, to workforce development.

We will also be looking for opportunities to tell the story of our dynamic region, and highlight our collaborative efforts to ensure its prosperity and progress.

To get started, we enlisted the help of a few of our members to produce a short video that introduces officials, partners, and prospective funders and colleagues—and maybe even the region's next generation of leaders—to COG and its important work.

We will be sharing the video widely, and would appreciate your help in promoting it, too.

We look forward to working alongside you in the year ahead.
