COG has developed an online resource on new infrastructure grant funding programs available to area governments and partners. Two searchable databases provide information on more than 400 funding programs of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) and more than 100 funding programs of the Inflation Reduction Act.

These landmark laws expand the number of transportation, energy, and technology grants or financing programs available to support entities like state and local governments and metropolitan planning organizations, like the National Capital Region Transportation Planning Board (TPB) at COG. These laws also align closely with COG and TPB planning priorities, and staff will continue to update and enhance this online resource for our members as notices of funding opportunity (NOFOs) are announced in the Federal Register.
