Advisory Committees

The Air and Climate Public Advisory Committee (ACPAC) advises on air quality, climate and energy issues to COG policy committees—the Metropolitan Washington Air Quality Committee (MWAQC) and the Climate, Energy, and Environment Policy Committee (CEEPC). To apply, complete the online interest form by December 20, 2017

The Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) to the Transportation Planning Board at COG represents diverse viewpoints on long-term transportation policy. The committee promotes public involvement in transportation planning for the region and provides independent, region-oriented citizen advice to the TPB on transportation plans and issues. To apply, complete this application by December 15, 2017.

The Access for All Advisory Committee (AFA) advises the TPB on transportation issues, programs, policies, and services that are important to low-income communities, minority communities and people with disabilities.
