Isaiah loves school! His coaches and teachers adore him, and have helped him meet some major milestones. When Barbara Harrison visited Isaiah at his middle school to tape his Wednesday's Child segment, he was receiving a science lesson with Coach Mike. Later, Isaiah was able to ride his bike with Coach Kelly; riding a bike is something that therapists only imagined Isaiah would have the ability to do a few years ago. Now Isaiah is thriving, and beating all the odds stacked against him. Although his form of communication is different, Isaiah can share his likes and dislikes. He enjoys watching movies, and listening to music for fun. Despite his medical needs, Isaiah is very capable of learning and will follow directions when given. We witnessed Isaiah's excellent listening skills consistently during the Wednesday's Child taping. With a phenomenal story and resilience, Isaiah inspires many of the adults that have come into his life. He needs a nurturing and stable family environment that will accept and support Isaiah to continue to excel. Isaiah will need constant care, and will be dependent on adults. However, Isaiah is sure to make his family very proud of all he is able to achieve with them by his side.
