Transportation Land-Use Connections Program

The Transportation Land-Use Connections (TLC) Program, established by the TPB in 2007, provides short-term consultant services to local jurisdictions for small planning projects that promote mixed-use, walkable communities and support a variety of transportation alternatives. The program offers consultant assistance up to $80,000 for planning projects and up to $100,000 for design or preliminary engineering projects. Since 2007, TLC has funded 191 planning projects, totaling more than $9.2 million in local technical assistance.

FY 2027 Solicitation

The FY 2027 (2026) TLC project application period is now closed. Thank you to all jurisdictions that submitted projects for consideration. The TPB will review applications and approve funding for recommended projects in late spring 2026.
